Somatic yoga and breathwork for teams and founders

With Jessica Reis, RYT 200

I combine somatic yoga with practical education about stress and the nervous system. We'll practice together and work out how to use what you've learned during your workday.

A therapist's perspective on workplace stress

As a psychotherapist and founder, I'm interested in why taking a break can feel difficult even when there's time for one. That question shapes how I teach. We pay attention to what happens when you slow down and how you respond to it.

I explain the purpose of the practices we try, so you can decide what's useful to you. Before we finish, we'll choose a short practice you can repeat on your own and work out where it fits into your week.

Workshops and private sessions

Tell me who you're bringing together and what their workdays look like. We'll choose a focus and format before the session.

For your team

For teams moving from one meeting to the next. I'll lead movement and breathing practices, with a focus on noticing tension and making time for a pause before the next conversation.

We can plan a workshop at your office or make it part of a team off-site. Chair-based options let people join in everyday clothes.

For founders

For founders who keep thinking about the business long after they've closed their laptops. We'll practice yoga and breathwork, then choose an exercise to use at a specific point in your day, such as before a high-stakes meeting or when you finish work.

Sessions can be one-on-one or with a small founder group.

For retreats and events

I'll work with the host to plan a yoga session that fits the retreat. We'll agree on the pace of the practice and what your guests will need beforehand.

Sessions include a few short practices guests can try again once they get home.

What happens in a session

In my teaching, somatic means paying attention to how a movement feels as you do it. I'll guide the practice and offer adjustments as we go.

You can stay seated or sit out any part of the session. There's time to ask questions and repeat an exercise before trying it on your own.

Participation is optional. You won't be asked to share personal experiences or discuss your mental health with colleagues.

Hi, I'm Jessica

Jessica Reis Psychotherapist & founder Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200)

I'm a psychotherapist and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). I teach with attention to alignment and how movement feels in your body.

Running my own businesses gives me a personal connection to this work. I know how easily a break becomes time to answer one more message. At The Somatic Room, I make time to practice the things that can be hard to fit into a working day.

Before you book

Does everyone need yoga experience?

No. I'll explain each movement and offer options as we go. Beginners are welcome.

Do we need mats or workout clothes?

A chair-based session can work in everyday clothes. For a longer yoga practice, you may need mats and comfortable clothing. We'll agree on this before the event.

Where do sessions take place?

I come to your group, so we'll plan the session around the space you have available. We'll confirm travel arrangements before booking.

Are these therapy sessions?

No. These are yoga and educational wellness sessions, separate from my psychotherapy practice. They don't include assessment or mental health treatment.

What does a session cost?

Each session is quoted individually. Send me the details of your event and I'll put together a proposal.
